The site I chose was Englishbanana.com.  I chose this site because I hate looking at the ugly pink color that the website uses and I think that the original homepage had to many ads.  What I did to modify the page was change the main background color to yellow which isn't much better than the pink but it is more banana like.  Also I changed the main text color to brown which is better than that ugly chalky font and color they used before.  I also eliminated some of the ads on the web page and made sure that all the important information was above the fold so that web page users see what they want right away and don't have to do that much to get to it.
